Hi everyone,
I’m running into an issue while printing with TPU (Bambu Lab TPU 95A HF, brand new spool, dried, humidity sensor reads 10%) and could use some advice.
Background:
• Single parts print without any issues – first layer sticks well and print quality is great.
• I’ve fine-tuned the settings over time and had successful prints.
• Now, I tried printing 10 instances of a previously successful part in one go.
The Problem:
• The first layer prints cleanly across all instances.
• But right after that, the extruder seems to struggle feeding filament into the hotend.
• It’s not a classic nozzle clog – it feels like the filament gets mechanically blocked.
• When I unload the filament, the end that sits in the extruder gears is visibly bulged and deformed, not straight.
Question to the Community:
• Has anyone seen this kind of behavior with TPU 95A HF?
• Why would it work fine for a single part but fail with multiple parts?
• Any tips on print speed, retraction settings, or cooling that could help?
Thanks in advance!
