Just looking for some advice/guidance/reassurance.
Ordered an A1 on the website on Sunday night. Got a message from DPD that my parcel from Etarget had been arranged, but not collected. The tracking info tied up with the info from this website. The filament, which is in the same order, got picked up yesterday and due for delivery tomorrow and the tracking information for that order is much more active.
Thursday still no movement. Still displaying “we have received your order details but not yet received your parcel”.
A friend of mine ordered an A1 and A1 mini on Monday morning, both delivered on Wednesday. Both of us are in the same part of the UK, both ordered from this website.
Tried opening a ticket but they are horrifically slow in responding. 12-24 hours for a response.
Did this happen to anyone else? Any advice on how to resolve without opening a PayPal dispute?
PayPal allows for 180 day time-frame to claim back your payment… and that would allow you to give it a couple of weeks or so for Bambu to complete the shipment. Usually, what happens is that once you place your order, the guy receiving it on Bambu side, initiates the delivery process by generating the shipping label and confirming shipment/tracking number with their selected carrier for your region, but that doesn’t mean that your order left already their warehouse. It takes a couple or more of days for your order to be processed and a couple more for the carrier to collect it… So, my advice would be to give them a week (business days) or so to have your order ready for shipping. If in a couple of weeks you still haven’t seen your printer moving, you may consider asking PayPal for a charge back.

Yeah I’m trying not to jump the gun. I’m just impatient, which was amplified when my friend let me know he got his yesterday after ordering them the same day.
After the label generation, some of my packages from Bambu Lab had been picked by the courier 1, 3, 5 or 7 days later.
Why? IDK, but it happens. Be patient.
BL ships the things it charges delivery for; printers & AMS separately from the things that could qualify for free shipping, which is everything else.
BL sends out a notice to DPD once they process the order.
Processing the order is weirdly unrelated to picking the stock and even availability of stock.
Printers & AMS appear to cone from a different warehouse than everything else. This is a guess, but, I have had a printer turn up in the morning with filament arriving later the same day and both delivered by DPD.
DPD, once the darling of U.K. deliveries is now the armpit of them. Their drivers routinely break all traffic laws, they ignore all delivery instructions, steal parcels and drive over little old ladies (there is a YouTube of it happening), don’t worry, the driver didn’t wait with the victim they went about their business of screwing up deliveries.
Once the “we received instructions, awaiting parcel” message appears, it can be anything from the same day to a week away before BL handover the package.
If you are getting 12-24 hour responses on ticket, the more you raise subsequent ones, the longer they appear to take.
The first response is usually wrong from the ticket, requiring further replies from you trying to get them to understand basic things.
They will soon add the boiler plate “we are busy right now and we need more staff”, this excuse is a constant sign that BL would rather lie about staffing up rather than actually staffing up.
It is worth noting that there is a sale on, this means they will take longer to do things as there is likely a significant increase in orders. That said, they operate a warehouse model in the U.K., with the printers sometimes originating from the U.K. and sometimes coming from Europe or China . Everything else mostly comes from the U.K., sometimes it comes from Europe or China.
In the early hours of this morning (2am) I ordered another P1S, many filaments and some accessories. At 6am I received the DPD notice that my order was created and they await the packages. Clearly this was note generated in the U.K. and the DPD alert is automated. Nothing had been picked at that time, the order even states fulfilled in the orders page, despite not being picked, given to the delivery partners, out for delivery or even a confirmed delivering, you know, the normal time you state fulfilled.
If you have nit experienced DPD recently, expect a great service from that one driver who prides himself on a quality and polite service. Chances are he isn’t working today though and you will get one of the other lying, deceitful, scum they employ.
One routinely makes fun of my disability, so yeah, that is always an exciting delivery.
I just received both the P1S and the box of filaments and accessories at the same time the next day after ordering and in the same delivery.
No reported old ladies were maimed in the process either.
Thankfully nothing went wrong as this is the proof of delivery they provided, for reference, it MUST be a photo of the delivered package in the doorway of the delivery address.
Also, before a certain account tries to say there is any personal information in the photo before banning the imaging and using it as an excuse to lock the post, I dare you to find any @SupportAssistant !
ha! found heavy sensitive data in the metada within the photo (such as bedroom information, toilet access -first door to the right -, vanity table, a couple of lost sleepers and, definitely some male shorts on the floor and some unpaired socks hanging out from the chandelier in the middle)… to much raw data in this image, Malc… you should have anonymisate some of it…

@ 31 Oct got information that electronical info sent to DHL, only sending the free bambu spool that came with filament order LMAO
Sent complaint 5’th Nov.
6 Nov package moving, 9 Nov still in germany according to DHL
7th Nov filament and hotend has a notification electronically PDP does not seems to still have any info on package bein received or moving @ 9th Nov
and 9th also hotend still no actions what so ever, this has to be the best experience i ever had out of anywhere, might one day even get my Projects forward, might even go as far to say that might have to reconsider getting my stuff elsewhere in the future.
bought and ship to Malaysia. Payment made on 12th Nov 2024.
4 days after payment, no update on shipment.
Contacted customer service: ohhh, due to my “long” address, they are not confirmed whether this is a correct address, so they onhold the shipment without update or send me email.
after the chat, shipment started.
5 days later, finally reach custom, and i received email from UPS (logistic compan) requesting for item info. so i message Bambulab what should i do? i thought all will be done by them? including custom clearance. they say they will handle all until delivery to my place.
ok then i wait
3 days later, still stuck at custom, received another email from UPS asking for my updates.
and now is been 2 weeks after payment is done, i still havent receive my A1 and AMS yet…
i only received my “small free gift” from Bambulab today.
