Issues with Bambu Translucent PLA

Hi all,

Just loaded a spool of Bambu translucent pla in an AMS 2 and the AMS reads it correctly but it won’t show up in studio. Any ideas as to the issue?

I am running the latest version of studio and I have selected the filament to show.

Any help appreciated.

Josh

I looked in Bambu Studio 2.2.2.56 and it shows up in the filament drop down in prepare for both P1S and H2D. My setup does NOT have an AMS connected.
Edit: and it does appear that filament is defined for all nozzle sizes.

Maybe if all else fails restart everything if you haven’t already.

So what does show up in that slot when you sync?

Thank all.

I have restarted the x1c. The ams and studio.

What is showing up is pla matte. Could this be caused by the fact I have the obsidian HF flow nozzle installed?

Thanks again

Josh

This list of options scrolls side to side and up and down on many computers.

I have missed some filament selections because they were in the bottom rows of tick boxes not visible until you scroll them into view.

Give than a try.

It shouldn’t be.

There are issues where the list excludes filaments that are blocked from us with some nozzle sizes.

The TPU 85A filament is one, you need to select a 0.6mm nozzle before it will appear.

BL PLA Translucent works fine with the standard 0.4mm nozzle so it is likely that is the size you have enabled.

If you wish to check, tell the print you have a standard BL 0.4mm nozzle, check the list again and see if it appears.

Remember to swap back.

There is a chance that you will need to create a custom profile based on the Bambu one for that nozzle.
