Hi
Suddenly got some problems with printing threads on items designed in Fusion…
During Print, the printer stops on several spots during printing an inner thread and causes some blobs. when i print the same item without the thread, the print gets good.
Filament is Bambu BAHT-CF, Slicer Orca, Slicer Settings ‘0.2mm Strength’
Any idea where the problem could be?
Change the minimum layer time in the filament settings to 1s. See if the problem is gone. It is possible that the print head pauses because a certain layer time is to be adhered to.
Best regards
It wouldn’t pause, it would slow down.
Is it really pausing?
You should look in the slicer and see what is happening at this spot, or you could give us the model to take a look at how it gets sliced.
Also, it looks like your filament is wet which makes it worse as it is going to ooze from the nozzle much more.
guys thanks for your replies. problem(s) solved. was the minimum layer time and slow printing down for better layer cooling.
@zviratko indeed, the filament was wet. had to get a better filament dryer to get rid of that problem. and with the p1p with enclosure, i heat up the nozzle and print bed to maximum, fan to 100% and then i ‘heat up’ the chamber up to about 52 degrees celsius before i start the print
I’d try adjusting the minimum layer time in your slices settings.
