The new Bambu Studio goes even ahead and let you set a dedicated blob detection. Spaghetti and Blob are two diffrent kinds with diffrent problem sources in the most cases. Spaghetti AI does work on mine pretty good, has stoped a print a week ago.
Another factor is how clean your cam lenses are. I clean them often with Q-Tips and Isopropanol. Due 3D Printing the fumes let pretty quick a sort of film on all surfaces behind.
The latest firmware release specifically adds blob detection, though for some reason you need to enable the purge tower for it to work.
My spaghetti detection is till working. Matter of fact, it triggered today on this print, which may well eventually have turned into a blob of death if it had failed at the detection:
I forget now exactly what the error message was, but it was failing on one of the calibrations. In my case, I’m fairly sure from a visual inspection that it was one of the connector pins on the camera that was bent at the factory installation and was the source of the problem.
The H2D is put together like a swiss watch, in that the tolerance on the fittings is very tight. It’s not the easiest machine to work on.
