I calibrated the birds-eye view camera this morning on the H2C and it made the optical shift much less of an issue… maybe off by a few tenths of a mm now vs many full mm.
I’m having the same issue with H2C, even while recalibrating the camera. The only thing I’ve found it to work off the gridlines, so line up the artwork against the gridline and move the object to roughly where I want it doing the laser work. It’s not ideal and certainly not all objects are properly centred. If I went off the camera view I’m probably up to 5mm off in 2 directions. When are Bambu going to sort this?!
I recently raised a ticket about this issue. I’m pretty sure I didn’t have the issue before and I’ve been lasering a lot since I got my H2S a few months back, but now my alignment is way off. Support suggested rolling back Bambu Suite and if that didn’t work they were going to send me a new birds eye camera. Haven’t tried either yet but we’ll see..
Exactly the same problem on an H2D.
Support gave me a new Bird eyes cam and now it’s perfect .
After the first camera calibration, problem was always here. i then do a full reset of the printer and it desapeared.
for less problem i always do a spot measurement than the automatic one
Would you share this STL?
The jig sounds like an awesome solution
