has anyone used the H2D laser to engrave on a MacBook Pro? I have the 40w laser and haven’t tried yet but would love to hear if anyone has
I don’t understand the question:
Do you want to laser engrave your MacBook Pro?
That could be problematic, because aluminum isn’t easy to engrave with a diode laser.
As far as I know, that requires an infrared laser (I could be wrong).
maybe im using the wrong terms here, I want a picture etched or a design on the MacBook
Marking spray might make it workable with a diode laser. But I haven’t used it myself yet so I’m not 100%
@StreetSports was working on that with an aluminum laptop:
I did a test on my MacBook M1 Pro. This is the backside, and I have H2D 40w.
I am not sure but may be I used 40-50% power for this.
I think next one I will do it on lower power.
that’s what I wanted to see! perfect! maybe ill use 30 percent. let me know how it goes for you when you do the front
