It seems that I can no longer perform calibration of “flow dynamics” or “flow rate” from Bambu Lab. It’s possible to initiate the calibrations and the printer will perform the prints, but the page in Bambu Lab remains greyed out, and saying N/A.
This stopped working when I accepted the latest firmware update on the printer today (currently 01.05.00.00, P1S). Bambu Studio says it’s the latest version (1.8.2.56).
Just tested and mine is broken as well. I have no doubt they will fix it but the question I have is, how was this not discovered in the beta test? How long was it in beta?
Well i said on the Facebook group that if i print at maximum speed i get some bloobs on the printed part even if i raise up the temperature of the hotend so not that you cannot calibrate the flow but if you print at 166% (maximum speed ) you won’t be able to finish the print
Might be an obvious one, but have you power-cycled everything? (printer, Handy, and B.S.?
I’ve had this happen to me before (on previous firmware upgrades), and it was because I didn’t power/boot-cycle everything. Doing that fixed it for me in the past.
I can confirm the bug. The calibration (Flow Dynamics) starts normally but when it’s finished you can not click on next (it’s grayed out). But it is possible to input the values in Device - AMS.
So yes, it’s a bug but it has a workaround.
With Flow rate it’s the same
i must be missing something? i didnt even know this calibration menu was used for anything. yesterday i ran the flow calibration from the device page in studio before updating to the lastest firmware and i thought this was just the initial calibration i ran once when i first setup the printer… is this supposed to be ran again and again for different filaments? was this supposed to set the K value to something other than 0.02? after updating it is also greyed out for me… but like i said… ive never used it anyways. what exactly is this calibration doing and used for?
