Latest Bambu Studio update doesn't recognise P1S upgrade

Hi all. Be aware! I just updated Bambu Studio to the new version 2 which has the new H2D stuff in it. I have a P1P with the full upgrade kit installed making it a P1S and have ticked the ‘upgrade installed’ option in the firmware. For a month now it’s been working fine and the old Studio version saw it as a P1S and gave me all the correct fan options, etc.

After installing the new Studio version when I try to refresh the AMS reels it says I don’t have a P1S connected and to check on the device page. It has basically stopped me from being able to use my AMS now. I’ve tried removing and readding the printer, logging it out and back in, restarting the printer and PC. Nothing works. It maintains I have a P1P connected and won’t refresh the AMS. Everything on the latest firmware. Bummer.

Have exactly the same problem. Can only refresh AMS when selecting P1P. (Maybe you need to add it again if you removed it after upgrade). But the problem still remains, it announces that the generated G-Code doesnt fit your printer then. Which I guess is true, yet still it works this way.

Hope Bambu fixes this asap

I think in the rush to get the H2D out they didn’t bother with minor things like people who upgraded.

That’s generally why, unless an update specifically fixes something for you, it’s best not to update to x.0.0 as in their rush to to release some brand new feature, the devs will likely break something else

They are aware and working on a fix.

how do we roll back to a version that works?

Bambu Studio has been updated. Please download the latest version and the issue should be solved.
