Latest printer update has broken my X1C

It says it can’t connect to the net, even though the icons say it’s connected, it’s getting a dhcp assignment, etc. Testing the connection says it can’t connect to the router, which it clearly can. This is crazy. I’ve restarted, dropped the wifi net, re-added it, still doesn’t work. Help! Update - did a factory reset. It says it’s connected to wifi. Still fails the connection test. Hangs waiting for a QR code to log in. First time I’ve had a disaster with my printer.

Qr code is fro. Your Bambu handy app

Have you tried presenting a hotspot connection from a cell phone as an alternative Internet path - to help rule out your home infrastructure configuration?

Ah, forgot about that, haven’t had to do it since I got the printer.
Looks like a factory reset didn’t fix it. It’s clearly connected, but still says it isn’t. Even though it shows up in the Handy app and the wifi router says it’s connected. Frustrating.

Not yet, but again it’s been working fine up until the firmware update.

Ok, after dropping the wifi net, adding it back, now seems to be working. Still not sure what the issue was. Hope it doesn’t come back.

  1. reset to factory mode,if the problem still there,go to step 2
  2. roll back the firmware version to the previous one

Well, reset didn’t actually fix anything. Here’s the kicker - lan only mode works fine, even though the printer says it can’t connect to my wifi. Even though it’s getting DHCP assignments, and my router says it’s connected. There seems to be no way to revert the firmware in lan-only mode, unless I’m missing something. Oh, and the AMS stopped feeding also, as reported by others. This update is a disaster. I guess I’ll have to open a support ticket.

Ok, after many attempts, I finally got to where I could roll back the firmware, now connectivity is working fine again. My AMS still seems to be sick, must have been coincidental.

Final post on this one. AMS is working again, I just needed to power-cycle. So at this time, after a rollback to 1.6, all issues are resolved. No doubt there are some serious issues with 1,.7.
