The tech sheets on the filament detail pages are great. But it’d be nice to know the likelihood, or some type of layer adhesion metric. I thought about this while printing extra spools, the stress of the 2 halves connection is carried purely with the layer adhesion, not lateral strength of the filament.
This would mean that a stronger filament doesn’t necessarily perform better here. Reinforced filaments don’t provide any extra strength between layers.
