Layer will color over another layer, then go back to original color

Hello, not sure if my title helps to explain my issue. I’ve created a project that will be using two colors. At a certain level, one of the colors (green) will start laying down, immediately at the next level, it gets completely covered up by the other color (black), then at the next level it continues with the correct color (green). How can i prevent this from happening. I do not have any flush options enabled into the infill or support. Hopefully my screenshots can explain better than I can. Normally I would not care, but with a dark color like black, it will bleed through and not make the other color as bright as I’d hope.

Okay I can understand your problem but I think this will be difficult to evaluate without looking at the actual model in the slicer.

How can I share it so you can see it?

you can upload your 3mf to Makerworld

Can you not add colour by layer using the paint option ?
i know i had to use the option once but it was only really for a top layer ( or two )

When I switch to a .2 nozzle it stopped doing that. But using a .4 nozzle it does that color cover. This project has two objects and I also moved it to only slightly embed on the base object, but that didn’t help with .4 nozzle.

The only thing I can guess is that there is a slight gap in-between that color and depending on the selected layer height the slicer inserts that “different color over”.
