Hello, the other issues with my A1 has now been fixed, and now the print quality is pretty good except for these little things that stick out on the side. Is this because of retraction? Is my nozzle to hot? Any help is appreciated.
Printer: A1
Filament: Bambu Labs PLA Matte
Nozzle temp: 220 Celcius

Any help is appreciated! (Thank you to those helping me in my previous posts!)
That’s odd, is there excess filament oozing out when it’s not supposed to be? What does it look like while it’s printing?

It looks like i just may not be sticking to layer below it. Since the blue katana is printing right now you can see it may either be not sticking, or just letting out some extra filament. Thank you for your help.
I assume the filament has been properly dried and calibrated? have you tried messing with the temps any yet?
No not yet, and this also happens on other filaments. It only happens on my A1 and not yet on my A1 Mini.
What other issues were you having that you fixed prior to this?
Just poor print quality from benchys after I put in a 0.2mm nozzle. It was fixed after I changed it back to a 0.4mm nozzle.
I looked more into this current issue and I found that all of the little layers sticking out was from the seam. I increased my retraction settings and set them from 30 mm/s to 45 mm/s. I am now calibrating the flow rate on the A1.
Also pla matte (bambu) has much worse adhesion than regular pla. And some colors seem worse than others, to me anyway.
