Mine will sit on my washing machine. Let’s see how good this H2D frame and motion system is is!
Just a FYI that you’re going to need its own electrical circuit as the H2D is power hungry.
Max Power* | 2200 W@220 V / 1320 W@110 V |
---|---|
Average Power | 1050 W@220 V / 1050 W@110 V |
It’s probably just on plate warm-up though right? Maybe I just need to not start a print while the washer heats water
I have my doubts whether it will fit into my Ikea Metod cabinet?
The P1S has lot’s of space. The two AMS work, but could be better positioned.
Wait we need space for it, thats a problem for future me to solve at the weekend
The floating damper feet seems designed for that.
What space?
I would think this is a miscalculation. Why would the 220v draw significantly more power?
Edit: maybe the warm up plate is faster on 220v?
It’s not a miscalculation.
It’s the same on the X/P printers. The bed has the same resistant so it draws more when using twice the voltage. This is also why the X/P printers have a lower maximum bed temperature when powered by 220 vs 110.
2-3 circuits depending on ams and ams ht count. Get you extension chords ready and a couple power strips if you plan on going all in.
Oh dear
You’ll need the money. Also, what happened to the dog bed?
LOL, AI still has a ways to go.
Sh*** I just bought a 1050W UPS for 4 of my X1Cs, I’m assuming max is during bed preheating. Thanks for this info!!!
Bought the Anker Solix C100 specifically for this printer, can handle 1800W sustained load. Will also work with a solar panel in case of emergency
My ship station at the far right was going to be its new home, but with the additional AMS’ I’m going to need a bigger boat.
Nice filament setup my man.
Thanks! I have the filament racks and led clips for the common sizes of this brand of cabinet on mw :
