Let’s see your largest prints on the H2D

I have way too much filament and not enough things to print lol. Let me see your largest print you’ve done on your H2D. I need ideas.

Here is mine so far. 315x315x315 flower pot I made in make my vase on makerworld. It took roughly 45 hours and used 1200g of filament. Filament is Tinmorry PETG metallic champagne gold.

Nice. Unlike the older models, the H2D can print larger than A4 so I’ve been trying to come up with something new that this opens up for. So far I didn’t get any idea (except for a desktop tray but that wouldn’t be interesting at all).

BTW I have been pondering “longest” prints as well:
Using a single nozzle you can print over 45 cm diagonally in XY. At least something thin or pointy - a rectangle would obviously need to be shorter. If you also use Z (and heaps of support lol) you can print up to 56 cm.

Using both nozzles the figures are even (slightly) higher: You can print ~47 cm in XY and ~57 cm in XYZ.

I printed a 50x35x35 motorcycle gear drier. Just the plastic is about 4.5 kilos. OFCOURSE not one print, but the main chasis is close to fullbed. printed it 4 times, so far so good, finishing the 5th.
Sorry no photos available, its a commercial piece and im a bit paranoid heh.

When you post your photo, please don’t forget to say what kind of filament you used. Preferably indicate both the filament name and brand name.

That way we also learn which filaments are proven good for printing big! :sunglasses:

Large but flat. Might not be what you are after but it is the biggest floor space thing I have printed on the H2D. The floor of my big jail diorama.

Looks like it turned out pretty good!

Good idea! I’ll update my post

I want to print these so bad. Maybe that’ll be my next project.

5 (maybe 4?) foot tall statue in 4 pieces. Pretty good results, I used plate glue to keep the PLA down a bit better.

I take it that’s not the 5ft tall one? Lol.

I’ve heard from @StreetSports that they’re uncomfortable to wear. Let us know if you agree or disagree after you’ve had a chance to try them out.

Its been a while, but this is probably the tallest. It was roughly 5’ 8". Sitting in a landfill somewhere. It was somehow distracting lol. Whoops, not from an h2d though. Sorry, just woke up

Comfortable enough to wear to the shop and back, but I wouldn’t wear them hiking. I recommend thicker socks. Also, they’re a bit on the larger size. I’m usually 44 European in Adidas/Nike, but WhaleBerry 44 is half a size large for me.

Same here! Even have the filament ever since they released it in March. I’ll probably first print that HT mount to place it right on top of the toolhead.

I printed my remix of the Prusa Aero Engine model. It nearly maxed out the z dimension at 324mm when scaled to 120%. Love this print.

Hey how are your whaleberry sneakers? I’m surprised by them I have been wearing them outside for weeks and they are great! Really bouncy.

This moon lamp remix I made has been the largest, as it used the full plate.

I disagree. I think the Whaleberries are very comfortable to wear. I’ve been wearing them outside for over a month now and they are great! Most of the time I get new sneakers and they feel great at first but then area where my foot is on part of the sole compresses down permanently. The whaleberries sustain a bounce and when you remove your foot the sole expands. Personally I think most TPU shoes are ugly but I printed these and they are my new sneakers.
