Printing in “Silent” mode really improves the overall quality of printed parts, so it would be highly appreciated to have to opportunity to set this speed (or any other available one) as the default speed for a Bambu Studio project, without needing further intervention from the user.
This does not require any invention. You can set the volumetric speed of the filament for a project.
I don’t want to change only the printing max speed, I want that the entire printing process slows down by 50%, so this should affects not only max speed but also initial calibration process, printing of overhangs, accelerations and more, just like it happens when you select the “Silent” print mode.
I did not say max speed. I said volumetric speed, that’s a different setting and it does exactly what you described.
Ok, thanks for the clarification, however in this way the speed must be set for each filament used for printing, instead it would be much more convenient to have a single setting to adjust.
I disagree, it might be more convenient but the way it is makes more sense as speed is always a matter of project and used material.
I like the idea to have a possibility to set the speed (silent, normal, sport, ludicrous) in the projet or at the moment I sent the print to the printer like the choice to select the calibration, timelapse…
