what is levels for and what is my level
The are imaginary plateaus that one with any dignity would care less about.
I assume you speak of the levels on MakerWorld.
Short answer: they are worthless.
If this is you, you are level 9.

Long answer:
They reflect a series of interactions you have performed.
- Joining a contest
- Uploading a model
- Writing a comment
- Writing a review
- More
Benefits none, unless you factor being confused as a benefit.
oh ok but the levels on this site
Sorry for the confusion, while they are called levels, they are actually badges here, thus the confusion.
They represent nothing more than achieving certain levels of interaction.
You are at the first one Basic.
I am at Regular, this is the highest any forum member can achieve as leader is out of bounds.
If you aim for regular, you need to essentially make the forum your main thing in life. I wouldn’t recommend it, as it says a lot about the person, at least it does for me.
OK thanks for the information
Lost mine, unlike you doesn’t seem to want to come back.
I’ve always been a member anyway. At least I’m above average.

I found this post trying to figure out what my level is. I’ve visited my profile and I dont see it. How do I tell? Is it hard to get to level 7? The guy I want to ask a question requires that to send a message. Thanks for any help in advance.
shoot. my bad. the yellow in the level is so close in color to my avatar, I missed it. I’m level 6 of course. 1 level shy of where i need to be to talk to a creator. ahahah live and learn. sorry to bump an old topic, but the level is on top of your avatar at the lower edge in case you missed it too.
This might help you, from an answer I gave previously.
