LiDAR question

So I’m wondering when the LiDAR should be working? I can see it on when it’s scanning the lines in the front of the build plate.

But is it supposed to also turn on after the first layer of a print? Reason I ask is because after the first layer the print head goes up and down the whole print. But no LiDAR light.

Just wondering why it would do up and down the whole print not doing anything.

So there are two lasers.

One visible light one (horizontal), and one IR one (vertical).

The Bambu’s camera can just about see the IR one, but you cannot.

It goes up and down the whole print for first layer scanning to detect potential issues. You can disable this in the settings should you wish.
