When remixing models from other sources with licenses that are not CC or the Standard File License there is no way to display the correct license and we are forced to select a license from the limited options. Please allow a text field and link to the license text for something like MIT etc.
Ignoring that it’s weird for anyone to use mit for art/designs, as it’s meant for software. The equivalent would be cc-by-sa. You could include the mit license in the documentation and/or description.

It’s not that weird when it’s applied to OpenSCAD source files 
but it was just an example. There are plenty licences other than CC that someone might have used and a derivative would have to follow. Mislabelling it with a different license that might break the first license is just not a great solution.
I had not thought about this problem. That’s a really good feature request. 
In particular, I have a 3mf file for a CERN open source hardware licensed design that I’d like to upload, but the current options preclude me from doing this. It’s meant to be a convenience and showcase to others a great example of open source scientific hardware that’s out there.
