On my A1 mini - I’m wondering if its possible to show what the active step is being currently printed. I don’t mean the layer number as that is obviously there currently, but I mean the line type. For example - outside wall, inside wall, infill, top layer, etc.
I know you may be able to mentally figure it out by saying ok it’s at this layer in this position on the model so it’s likely this line type but in the heat of the moment , especially on a faster speed project, that may be difficult. It would be easier to say oh hey its doing an outside wall and that’s where its currently setup so I can go back and adjust those settings.
Or like overhang, bridge, too…
I know display space is limited especially on the a1 mini. Maybe get rid of the green bar next to the percentage (but leave the numeric percentage itself) and put the text there instead.
Practical example - my current print has a large area of support. I know I slowed support down so I expected that to be slow… but then it started what I think is the first permanent layer of the model above the support and it went even slower and I’m not 100% sure why. Is this because it’s considered a top layer? Or maybe 100% overhang? Or some other step I’m not familiar with.
For a pro they would probably know right away but it would help someone newer to printing.
