I’m trying to use the Lithophane Maker and it has created an STL, but it changes the filament half way up when no change has been called for.
Also, why does it make the lithophane standing up? It takes 5 times longer that way.

I think you ought to move the thread to MakerLab since Lithopane maker is part of Maker Lab.
I can’t say why lithopane maker would want to do a filament change (never happened for me for monochrome litho), but for the 2nd question - it’s because when printing vertically, the resulting material thickness is better controlled and so the resulting litho is of better quality overall.
The solution is, if you change the filament selection, you must go into Objects / Layers and change the selection there as well.
