I finished printing the lithophane frame from the “Make a lithophane” maker but don’t understand what these tabs are supposed to be for?
Any ideas?
From the YouTube video, it appears to do nothing.
The Wiki doesn’t explain it either.
I also haven’t found anything mentioning these parts.
I’ll have to reprint it anyway since the stand is awful. Gives me the chance the fix both in cad.
Actually, i found out what they are: “Springs/Tensioner”. The pegs sit slightly higher than the rest of the frame in that area. If you insert the lithophane you slightly push them down making the fit tighter. I just ripped them off to test something and now the lithophane just falls out of the frame if you tilt it.
