I am noticing on a print I am doing that little bits of excess filament seem to be building up randomly on the print surface and ultimately being knocked down into the build chamber.
I am using Bambu PLA, and all the default settings.
Any ideas?

looks like some artifact cooling before reaching the next part and then it gets knocked off, I’d run a PA test and see if it needs to be lowered or maybe the temp needs to be dropped 5
Change away from grid infill. The pieces of filament are getting knocked off as the nozzle crosses over previously laid infill lines, which pushes the filament up. Gyroid or cubic is better in this regard as the nozzle doesn’t cross over itself in the same layer. As you move onto higher strength filaments, the nozzle hitting the filament pieces that stick up can become an obstruction, knocking toolhead up and causing defects, or worse causing the model to come unstuck to the bed.
Riddle me this. How does one know when a problem is ubiquitous?
A) When it’s so common that someone takes the time to create a solution for it.
The technical artsy-fartsy word for the litter at the bottom of the printer is called detritus. It’s normal and part of standard operation.
See this link to the filapoop-scoop for the tray bottom that allows for easier sweeping up of those little pieces of filament.
