@Cable thank you purchasing it I am as well exited for you to use it and explore all cool features
let me know how it goes ![]()
if it would be a subscription I wouldnt buy it… i also love the one-off payment!!
What do you guys think of me creating a new forum tread/post?
This one became too long to read and the screenshots and description is long outdated, but i can’t update the post itself unfortunately so new people read outdated info on the top when they come to this page?
What would be the best way to keep you all updated ?
P.S. More cool updates are coming
don’t tell anyone ![]()
Hi @Minimal.
Tha app has been closing and freezing this past week randomly. It never did that.
When it does, Android complains about compatibility problems and excesive battery use.
There is a discrepancy between data shown on the notification area and inside the app. This is new too, it always matched data.
Hey @ElektroQuark, thanks for reporting, i was doing some compatibility and performance improvements and i am still workign on some, i will take a look into what you have reported. It would be great of you can DM me a bit more specifics that would help narrow it down.
I have no more specifics to share. If you need me to do any test, feel free to ask for it.
New release 2.8.95 with fixes are out now.
The issues you were seeing should be fixed. Let me know if it is fixed for you or you still see any issues. It was a big reactor, i will post more detailed release note a bit later @ElektroQuark
MakerStats update: tag suggestions, trend lines, and a faster app
This update is a big one. Large parts of the app were rewritten, and it adds two new features.
New: better tags for your models
MakerStats now suggests tags for each of your models. It bases them on the top 100 similar models in the same category and on data from MakerWorld’s new Trends and Popular Searches pages. Pick the tags you want and publish them to your model on MakerWorld without leaving the app. Publishing needs you to be signed in to MakerWorld in the app.
New: 7 and 30 day trend lines on Stats
Every daily stat card on the Stats screen now shows a 7 or 30 day trend line. Tap and drag along the line to see how much it changed on each day.
Faster everywhere
The app is noticeably faster and more responsive.
Update from the App Store (iOS 1.1.22) or Google Play (Android 2.8.95). Questions and feedback are welcome in this thread.
Here is a short demo of the new Tags suggestion feature

Hi @Minimal, it seems to work better now.
I love the tag suggestion feature.
Could it be improved to allow removing any of the models tags? So it could be possible to add some tags and remove others.
Thank you for this really nice app.
Really cool app! I love seeing people build tools like this!!
Quick question though: does anyone know whether Makerworld/BambuLab are okay with external apps using their API?
I ask because I once contacted their legal team while working on a Chrome extension, and they told me it wasn’t permitted under their Terms of Service. I didn’t want to risk my Makerworld account (or anyone else’s), so I had to drop the idea.
Just wondering whether anything has changed, or if there’s official guidance on this.
Hey @MattC , thank you I appreciate it, I think I have seen your chrome extension post somewhere on the forum I think and discussion there. I don’t think anything changed since then unfortunately. But essentially I am not acting as a mass scraper that is not my goal anyway and form what I understand that is what they were referring to or at least I hope so.
So I don’t think I have a dofferent answers to this questions.
The data shown in the app is essentially tour data for you account that you would see in creator center anyway so it belongs you and your yiu, I don’t think there is anything with that.
@ElektroQuark yes it actually already will remove tags if you go over the 50 allowed and it will pick the least effective ones. and it will tell you about it before publishing. Uknfrotunalty i can’t so live editing or selecting.
Unfortunately that’s all my Chrome extension was going to do.. talk to their API using the user’s currently logged-in credentials. No mass-scraping ![]()
I guess because there’s no official, public & documented API, any access of it conflicts with this section of the ToS, which is why they politely said no when I asked.
It’d be great if MakerWorld provided a public API. It would help drive innovation through tools like the one you’ve been developing, and this ultimately helps promote MakerWorld even more.
Yes i totally agree, that would be such a better experience for developers and users ![]()
I have been enjoying it! Just downloaded the update so will see the new features. Very interested on suggested tags and removing ones that are not as effective.
I enjoy seeing the trends and suggestions, I wish it did more at once!
I’m fine with this or a new board (with top post updated and includes releases). May want the new board made first and a link in the last post here before requesting this one be locked.
