LMFAO bird eye inaccuracy

Was reading various wiki on the laser and find this one talking about using Jig.

And there result is lamentable :face_vomiting: totaly Uncentered like we all encountered when using the bird eyes :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:


So it’s nearly official ! don’t expected professionnal engravement with this tool ! :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Some seem to be very unlucky with the Birds Eye Cam. I see a height that is more than the thickness of the parts, so I assume that you measured the thickness already.

Only advice I can give you is to run all the laser calibrations again and try to place your part more towards the front.

Nevertheless, at that location my deviation is something like 0.5mm max.

after you ran all the calibrations again and see no improvement, I would open a ticket at support.

you miss understood me . It’s not my project.
i already had a ticket and the bird eye cam exchanged.
I was shocked that even in an official wiki they are not able to present a decent alignment :joy:
i am resigned to the ideas to not have precision on placement :sob:

Sometimes even 0.1mm counts, so I have posted a feature request ( Enable Low-Power Laser Framing (e.g., S1/S001) with Closed Cover for H2 Series · Issue #11270 · bambulab/BambuStudio · GitHub ) to add SAFE framing to Bambu Suite. It should be very easy to implement and no need to be manually made as a workaround.

Please vote with ‘Thumbs Up‘ for the feature if You like/need it.

i just got my H2C with laser.. how do you turn on the birds eye to see or is it just for capturing and not active monitoring of a task?

Use bambu suite, on the prepare screen there is a capture button that takes a snap shot with the birds eye camera and enables you to align your designs with the material in the chamber. Also, there is no live view using the birds eye camera
