Loading bambu studio win 11

I am attempting to load bambu studio on my new hp laptop, win 11. click the file to load and it try to load microsoft store then tells me to change recomendation setting? please any help. I read about an S-mode setting in microsoft store but it isn’t there.

S-Mode is a security setting in Windows that, according to Microsoft “streamlines” the Windows install and, most importantly, restricts installation of new software to Microsoft Store only downloads.

This is usually a setting that’s managed by an IT department. If that’s the case for your laptop, you won’t be able to change it without their permission. If, somehow, you bought a laptop that was configured that way by default, you can turn S mode off (but once deactivated you can never activate it again).

Go to Settings > System > Activation and find “Switch to Windows 11 Pro” and then select “Go to the Store” (don’t select the “Upgrade your edition of Windows” link). On the Microsoft Store page that opens, there should be a “switch out of S Mode” (or something similar) option. Select the “Get” button for that option.

Try uninstalling bambu studio, then reboot the laptop.
Locate the downloaded bambu studio file, right click on it and choose run as administrator
It’s worth a try
