Hi everyone,

I’m printing with a Bambu Lab P1S using eSUN PLA+, and I’ve encountered a very specific and frustrating issue. The print quality is generally good, but only one or two corners of the model show noticeable stringing or oozing, sometimes with blobs forming on the edges or seams. The rest of the print is clean.
Here’s what I’ve already done:
- Retraction distance: 1.2 mm → even tried up to 2.0 mm
- Retraction speed: 35–45 mm/s
- Z hop: enabled at 0.2–0.4 mm
- Cooling fan: 100% active, always on
- Layer time: set to 8–10 seconds minimum
- Nozzle temp: lowered from 215 °C → 200 °C
- Filament is dry and stored properly
Photos attached below show that the problem only affects one sharp tail corner and sometimes lower edge areas. Other parts with similar geometry are clean, so it doesn’t seem to be a model-wide or slicer-wide issue.
I suspect it could be related to:
- Seam placement?
- Wipe/Coasting not being active in Bambu Studio?
- Travel paths at certain layer changes?
- Print order of parts?
If anyone has experienced similar selective stringing or corner oozing – especially when most of the model is clean – I’d really appreciate any advice or setting suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
