I have some SVG pre-built logos that I would like to incorporate into various prints. Printing the logo alone is not the intention as it’s simply a collection of text and a symbol however I would like to add it to some existing STL models I have. Is it possible to for example add a Cube in Bambu Studio and rotate the SVG logo to be displayed on the side of the cube? On the top of the cube? I figured I would start simple and just use a Primitive cube before trying to incorporate into other models.
Any feedback on if and how this can be done would be appreciated. Thanks
I believe the method would be to make an stl from the svg file and add them to your print as a part, its been awhile i added a logo to a model, then you can set it as a negitive modifier ( emboss) or positive feature.
The part that is a bit confusing to me is how to stack the logo on-top of a cube or rectangle? For example if the cube is 50mm tall can you put a 10mm in height logo on top of the 50mm tall cube or do you have to adjust the logo to be 60mm in height and you just drag in to the middle of the cube? This approach seems odd to me as the logo would be taking over the structure of the cube as it’s the same height and fully integrated. Maybe I am overcomplicating this and simply missing something.
sorry for the late response, by I’m glad you found the controls, and I just realized that the SVG files can be used directly. I was used to making 3d parts out of the SVG files and just importing them into the slicer and then manipulating the models that way, but this can save some steps
