I attempted to load the Filament on my A1 printer and as I wait for the extruder to heat up to ~200 C degrees, it reaches 145 C degrees and then slowly cools down. Is there a troubleshooting guide for this? I found a troubleshooting guide for the bed not heating up on the BambuLab site but nothing about troubleshooting the extruder. Thanks!
Hey Jalan
Are you still struggling? Have you got another nozzle? as it sounds like yours has gone faulty?
Sadly BAmbu consider them consumables so they are not covered by warranty but for the price they are it isnt a huge problem.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn’t find nozzle,Do you mean that I should replace the ":hotend?
Yes, that’s it, you can replace only the complete hotend. Just make sure you buy the correct one, standard is 0.4mm.
But apart from the hotend, which I think is not the source of the error because it is passively heated, you should check the “Hotend Heating Assembly”.
It contains also the thermistor for measuring the temperature.
Do you still have warranty on the printer? Then I suggest opening a support ticket. If you have a faulty heating assembly or maybe even a broken toolhead circuit boards I expect that Bambu will send you a replacement.
Is there a way to manually control the extruder temperature when you print is paused? Mine is clogged, and the only way I can seem to get it cleared is to heat the extruder up to 250 and push it out. It won’t let me change temps unless I stop the print, and then I lose it.
