Loud click clack noise

Can’t figure out where it is coming from. From the outside it sounds like from left. From the inside it sounds it comes from anywhere.

Anyone heard this before ? Printer has about 500hrs so will likely do some maintenance shortly (well after this 18 hour print is done) but anyone heard that before ?

I can hear that across the room.

Here two videos.

Sounds like PTFE tube is hitting something. Most likely the light on the RHS.

Edit. Probably not what I though.

Was my first thought but the fact it gets louder to the front left and can even be heard on the outside across the room … don’t know … really weird.

Can you reproduce the noise by shaking the printer with your hands?

Just fyi you are recording in portrait mode. Did you take this in landscape but have your phone locked in portrait? The portrait mode is normally reserved for taking picture portraits. When you record a video especially for youtube and most sites you normally want to do it in landscape mode. (Unless you are recording a video for instagram)

From the second video it seems like it makes the noise when the print head moves right, as if it has something to do with the ptfe tubes hitting the right side of the machine. But you would have probably noticed that. Maybe it has to do with something along the plastic chain from the print head.

As a videographer I’ve been saying this for a long time but gave up after the Instagram/Tik Tok generation came about  Heck even on set we sometimes have to shoot vertically with our expensive cameras lol
