Lower portion of tree support kept failing

For some unknown reasons, this particular print’s fisrt couple layer of tree support kept failing on my P1S (I also tried my friend’s P1X, same happened) so I begin to think it is the setting the problem? (nozzle and build plate are just replaced few weeks ago and cleaned)

nothing special abour the tree support seetings just regular “tree auto”

Looks like a layers shift after the first layer. Do other models print okay? Do you have any mods to the inside of your printer such as stepper covers, ptfe guides etc. Have you recently shorted/replaced your PTFE tube? Can you move the head of your machine to each extreme corner manual without substantial resistance?

The other ones are printed just fine. The model looks intact to me. And haven’t moved anything inside of the printer (but will check those once the current print is done)

It just looks like everything is shifted in the same direction from the first layer. It’s a diagonal shift which is common with core x/y machines.

So what do you think could be the reason of this happening and what could I do to solve this? do a maintaince on the carbon tubes and belt tention etc like they did on the youtube videos?

Those are always good things to do.

If this is only happening on this print and not all prints I suggest checking what I mentioned before.

Will do! Thank you for yor help! ( I also adjusted the z hop settings for the filament to normal z-hop, I saw someone meantioned that if a print is close to the edge, the default spiral z hop sometime cuases this kind of issuse not sure if it would help though

And now looking back, the wiredest thing is actually only the supports were shifted but the actual print at the same leve did not
