MacOS 15 Sequoia, BL Studio 1.9.5.51 (and later) LAN mode

Hi all,

I have a bit of an issue again.

Setup is:
MacOS machine (now running latest version),
connected wirelessly to router (not changed anything on that since months),
two BL X1Cs in the same network.

It always used to work in LAN only (and sorry, I do wish to only use the machines in LAN only mode).

Now two things happened: new MacOS and new BL release. (reversed back to previous BL version now).

And since, I cannot use the machines in LAN only. They simply do not get detected by Studio. In my network the machines (static IPs) are just visible (on router interface), but I cannot ping them via my Mac.

Apple point me to BL, stating it is their faulty software, BL support (being a bit underwhelming again) keep just repeating that it must be the Mac or the router.

I have tried a few settings, but to no avail. Any others experiencing the issue, and even found a solution?

No one using a latest SW version Mac with BL printers in LAN only?

Maybe it’s related to macOS Sequoia causing issues for security tools and browsers. Because of such issues, I do not upgrade to a .0 version and wait until at least the .1 is published. :slight_smile:

Yes, I agree. Normally I would have waited too.
Sadly some other software I use, had a major hiccup, which was resolved by the latest update…

Any other Sequoia users out there wanting to use LAN only mode?
