Maintenance Counters

A maintenance counter within the machine accumulates hours and tells the user when to execute certain types of maintenance found within the wiki.

Hi, as the Bambu Wiki covers almost every needed maintenance either after time or event, it would be perfect to have this feature implemented in a tab on the printer and in the app.
I was thinking about a time-based-only counter that, at least, reminds you of necessary maintenances. Choice would be yours to do it and with a “OK” button any maintenance-counter related message disappears and the counter continues. No need for fancy assessment of used spools or other data.
Not just useful for the user to have the printer as long as possible, but could a good source of revenue for bambu regarding spares ans wears.

Resurrecting this thread from a year ago…

It would be nice to see “hours printed”. Not sure if and how it’s possible but I thought I’d throw it out there.

It is possible on both the X and P series printers.

Agreed. Right now I have a spreadsheet that I check on the first of each month for items that don’t have to be quick-checked at each print - I have the maintenance schedule set up in that spreadsheet. I know the X1C has an “hours printed” meter, which is nice, but there are enough maintenance items to be done that it would be helpful if the printer had a progress meter for each maintenance item - especially useful for users who wouldn’t think to check these things. If anything, Bambu would sell more maintenance items.

It would also be good to see how much each AMS spool feeder has been utilized in hours - would help in balancing the feeder usage. Right now I just make sure to move the colors I use most to different feeders as I swap them in and out.

This is a great idea that fits very well with the ease of use of bambulab printers. I don’t like to remember to do any kind of maintenance, I will happily do it when told, but I don’t like to track it myself. Please consider adding this feature
