Maintenance cycle of A1 & Extruder life hours

Hello Everyone,
Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
This is my first post on this forum.
Bought A1, 4days back and printed 36Hrs so far.
I am using PLA filament of Elegoo make and the print quality is fine.
Tried to search in the forum about maintenance cycle and steps for maintenance but unable to see any.

Can someone please help me in getting this and also if someone used extensively, what is the extruder life before it need replacement.

I am trying to build a print cost estimator and will share the same once ready.

Thanks in advance.

You can find the information you need on the “Banbu Lab Wiki”.

Hello, when your printer needs maintenance it will most likely pop up with a QR code. If you scan it on your phone, there will be videos and instructions of what to do.

If you are printing with non corrosive filament e.g. (PLA, PETG, TPU) Your hotened will last thousands of print hours even hundreds of thousands. If you are printing with carbon fibre filaments without a hardened steel nozzle they will wear out over time. If you are printing with carbon fiber filaments, make sure to get a Hardened steel nozzle. But with non-corrosive filaments, it’s not a must.

Thanks for your questions,

Thank you for your response. It will help me in building the print cost estimator.

The non-filament part of print cost estimation will be almost entirely dominated by labour cost.

Even if you had to completely replace an A1 after a year (which you don’t) you would get 5,000 hours (18 hours per day, times 6 days per week, times 48 weeks) making it cost like 0.05 per hour or orders of magnitude less than you pay your print farm worker.
