Maker Supply LEDs require CR1832 batteries

Is that a typo? I cannot find CR1832 batteries when I look for them. The search pulls up CR2032 and CR1632, but I cannot find any reference to CR1832 batteries.

This is the part in Maker Supply I was hoping to utilize: Y Shape LED Light with Magnetic Control Switch

I think it could fit in my lightsabers to light them up, if it is bright enough. I don’t see any information about the brightness (lumens) of the LEDs either.

Does anyone have experience with this piece?

If the diameter of the PCB is 18mm. It’s probably a CR1632

That is what I was thinking. I was just hoping someone had experience with it and had tried it.

Looking closer, it does say “one battery and one magnet included”. So maybe it is worth trying it out and seeing what that battery REALLY is. Maybe it is a CR1632. Otherwise, I don’t know where I could find replacements.

EDIT: I went ahead and ordered a couple to try. I will report back on my findings when they get here.

For whatever reason, I didn’t get any of the Y shaped ones but I got a ton of the others. I can confirm that the ring lights use CR1632

Also, these lights are every bit as cool as you think they are. The included magnet is 3mm x 8mm I believe but Ive been using them with 2mm x 4mm.

How are they in terms of brightness?

I find the ring light pretty bright. The single not so much but they work perfect for what I need.

That’s a stack of 20x10x2 rectangular magnets and the only reason it turns on from so far away. A 2x4 will switch it from about 5mm-10mm away.

It’s the work of the devil I say!
