I’ve been impressed with the Maker’s Supply program, especially the integration of a parts library that ensures compatibility and ease of use for designers and makers alike. It’s great to see such support for our creative processes.
I’d like to suggest extending the Maker’s Supply to include filament sales. Many designs rely heavily on specific filaments, and having them available directly through Maker’s Supply could enhance model consistency and quality. It will also help makers see what filament colors and material choices they need to select for a design.
Additionally, offering a commission to designers for filament sold through their models could help sustain and motivate our community. This could be a straightforward way to support creators further and ensure high-quality outputs.
Would love to see if this could be a feasible addition to the Maker’s Supply program.
I also have similar post for just general sales to fund boost systems. Not BOM though.
I do like idea for more specific one for multicolored printing…though, not sure how will calculate rewards if they only use few g for one print, then tons for next.
Thanks for sharing those links @MalcTheOracle and @TheBreadman. I did not see those posts previously. Perhaps there is a lot of interest in this from creators and it’s a win-win for Bambu Lab as well.
