Was checking in with MakerWorld this morning and noticed some very strange behavior in the points transaction area. I was seeing income points from other users accounts. Also, the number of pages of transactions kept changing. Then a refresh and an error page. Then a maintenance page. Now, a Cloudflare is causing the problem. Before the current Cloudflare error page I was suspecting a ransomeware attack.
Did anyone else experience this progression of events with MakerWorld?
Yep, the same is on MakerWorld’s page. Cloudfare is claiming " a loss of power impacting data centres while simultaneously failing over services". As someone with a seventeen-year career in a fortune 50 IT company, I find this explanation curious. For data centers (plural) to have loss of power at the same time would be very unlikely unless they were not very “distributed” OR they suffered a cyber-attack that gained access to their power management systems. Either would be concerning for a company like Cloudflare

Since the site came back up, they have all been removed & things are back to the way they were.
I was able to get it to connect 1 time today, but didn’t try and message anyone. I’m assuming they are working on it. Something else I saw they added recently was this:
