Is there a way or rather how do I make it so my 3D file opens in a static location and orientation on the plate inside of either Bambu Studio or Orca? Currently I’m learning to print helmets and every time I reopen it I have to spend time orienting it to the plate just right so it will print in my X1-C.
Bambu and Orca respect stl/step file model’s orientation, which means the rotation you’re experiencing is due to 3D software’s of your choice location. If you need the item to open at the correct location when opening from stl you have to rotate it in the 3D app you use for designing before export

Another way is to orient it in the silcer and export the stl (right click). Next time imported it will have the right/old orientation.
