So on the P1S when using the AMS, and a 0.2 Nozzel the printer spends most of its time flushing out the head to change colors…
I would like to be able do this operation manually, outside of a print job, from the OnScreen-Menu of the printer, into the waste bin. Something probably on the load/unload menu. And being able to select which AMS slot to flush with, would be a plus.
(we cannot use the Phone-App or Online because we are a multi-user environment and only direct SD card printing supports that)
(also LAN is out, as we are a large network and Bambu only supports insecure Wifi connections… so that’s out too)
I come across on the form’s that it is very common to clog a 0.2 HotEnd, and since I have to swap it out a lot (we mostly use 0.8 in all our printers), I’ve been flushing the HotEnd with Cleaner-Filament first to avoid clogging/ burnt plastic issues. So while it’s in storage, it is known it is full of Cleaner. Then when its put back in service its known to have Cleaner in it, and not random ABS, PETG, PP or what ever else was last printed and be full of water… etc
I’ve Recently had two multi-day prints where the first layer of the first color is not virgin, and has something else in it. So when I’m going to do a expensive (in Machine-time) print I would like to flush the first printed color one or twice. This is why I would like to be able to select the spool to flush with, as the Slicer in Bambu Studio doesn’t always start printing with spool 1 (its almost always Spool 2 for ??reasons??)
