Markforged Onyx

Gday All, I’m about to have a crack at printing Markforged Onyx in my X1C. I was wondering if anyone had any recommended setting to use as a stating point?
Any help is appreciated

that filament NEEDS TO BE DRIED first or at least be very, very dry to start with, it’s extremely hygroscopic. I run a mark forged mark2 and use onyx all the time. Nozzle at 280 and print it SLOW SLOW SLOW. Im talking 50 mm a second max. First layer 15mm a sec. No fan. It may ruin your build plate, so test a small area first. Markforged uses thick Garolite aka g10 as a bed. I would use glue stick. Onyx is printed from a dry box because it will take moisture from the air. So be aware of that.

how did this print (printing Markforged Onyx in my X1C) go?

i have some but and will eventually print it in my p1s. In theory it should work just fine as onyx is just chopped fiber laced PA6. No real issue as long as you give it time to print.

I have successfully printed Onyx on our X1C without any problems. I used the Bambu PA6-CF profile and only set the print temperature to 280°C. All other settings stayed the same. I also printed it at the higher speed that comes with the profile settings and also had no problems. I used the textured PEI sheet at 100°C with a little Magigoo PA as an adhesive and have had no problems sticking to the bed so far. Hope this helps!

It’s extremely expensive PA6-CF, nothing more

PA6-CF is fine in the X1C
