Just wanted to add another option (primarily for DE/AT/Europe):
3DJAKE mattePLA Light Grey, 1,75 mm / 1000 g (“house brand” filament of online shop “3Djake”, EAN: 9010707007265)
I was about to get the PrimaValue PLA+ based on the posts in this thread but the 3DJAKE filament was on sale for 13,99€ during black friday so I gave it a shot.
The spool I received today is a very good match for the light enclosure parts of the A1. Depending on how light hits the structure of the print, the color may seem a nuance lighter after printing. But in combination with the matte finish it’s a close enough for the girls I date.
(I am unable to post media or links at this time. Maybe I can add a photo later)
I first tried to match the color with the Bambu Filament Swatches, waste of time, I tried Amazon and got one hit Amazon Basic PLA light gray but it does not exist now. Something else to add to my list of BBL issues but I hope nothing comes close to the A1 Mini camera .2 FPS joke. For the filament that is available:
Subtotal $22.00
Shipping $27.00
Total USD**$49.00**
$50 and weeks is not acceptable… Bambu, wake up, you’re in for the money, sell filament the color of your printers! .
@n_bagge, there are a number of similar discussions where filament suggestions have been made, so I created a chart here to list their colour differences to that of the A1/A1 Mini’s light grey housing colour.
For anyone in the US interested in a reasonable filament color match for the A1 (possibly others too but I just have an A1). I’ve been searching for a decent filament color match for the A1 and really haven’t found anything. But I stumbled across Filaxix PETG-HS Matte. It’s a fast printing PETG that is the best color match I’ve found so far. They list the color as White but it’s definitely a light Gray. It’s also currently on sale for about $18/kg on US Amazon.
Was just looking around for a LIGHT GRAY PTEG (my normal filament) and ran across it. It’s a real close match to the A1 color, very satisfied (not perfect but much better than anything else I’ve found). I don’t believe it’s an Only Amazon brand, that’s just where I found it. I’m in the US, so was just mentioning it if out of US people searched for it and couldn’t find it. They possibly have a website where you can purchase direct, didn’t search for it.
Really don’t understand. What’s your issue? All I was sharing is a filament I found that is a reasonable match for the A1 color. Personally, I don’t care who sells it as long as it does its job and prints well. If you have no interest, fine.
