Material on nozzle

Hello everyone,

I print with PETG from Bambulab with the default settings in the Orca Slicer. What happens is that during printing, material settles on the nozzle and is then released into my printed part at some point. (see photo) This then contaminates my component. Do you have any ideas as to whether I can change something in the settings or whether it might be the filament. I would really appreciate an answer.
Best regards
Dieter

You can use Slice Engineering Plastic Repellent Paint on the nozzles when cold with a brush. That’ll stop plastic from settling on the nozzle.

Many thanks for the answer. I’m going to order Plastic Repellent Paint and try it out.
Best regards
Dieter

No worries. I hope it works out for you babes

Looks like to much flow. Try to run the flow rate compensation in Orca or Bambu Studio.

Hello Pretty, I bought the Plastic Repellent Paint and tried it out. It works. Thank you.

Are you still using the repellant paint ? PETG is fussy
