Matte vs Basic

Hi all,

Quick question. Is there any advantage to using Matte filament over basic when I intend sanding and painting anyway?

I prefer the matte filament purely for the look. The matte filament tends to offer less prominent layer lines to me. But the difference is very subtle at Bambu speeds, as even the basic filaments tend to move to the matte side.

Thanks. Much appreciated . I am about to start a massive project and want to use the same filament throughout.

I think I will go for matte. I agree that it looks smoother.
