Maybe someday, but I’ve been wondering if it would be effective to print a light pipe out of PETG that captures some stray light from the Bambu Studio logo at the top of the print head and follows the front shell and uses it to illuminate the nozzle. It probably wouldn’t be enough light, but wouldn’t require any wiring or additional LEDs. I’ve seen articles about printing them with PETG and large layers/extrusion widths.
Cool idea, but i think even with injection molded clear plastics it probably wouldn’t be sufficient or practical.
It’s probably much easier to wire an additional LED from the same port.
Feel free to try it tho, wouldn’t mind being proven wrong.

I agree it probably wouldn’t provide enough light but could be an interesting experiment.
