Membership benefits

apparently ONLY if you bought from the BL store directly and only if you are not on B2B account. Buying membership is not possible, so PLA is now €30 even if buying 4+ reels for those who “don’t qualify” efff them many other good filaments around at decent prices ! RIDICULOUS ! €35 (inc shipping) per 1kg for “basic” stuff mehh

before membership system, i think membership discount profit loss will be made up for by those who cannot become members, also 25% off on 4 gone…BL getting greedy

Good, go buy from Amazon and quit complaining.

The irony of this statement from someone complaining about wanting more than 8 spools a month…

The membership program seems to me to be a way for Bambu to help manage stock levels for its new customers. Previously anyone could order a large quantity of filament at the %25 off rate and buy up all of Bambu’s stock. With the new system there is a limit to 8 spools a month at the discounted rate per account (that bought a printer). Above that number the discount doesn’t apply. This system allows Bambu to maintain stock levels for customers who own Bambu printers.

I´ve read the available documentation in the membership, and for me, it isn’t clear that B2B are out of scope. Maybe I missed some details. If so, please share.

In my opinion, the error relates to the recent method for business, which resulted in a separate account for B2B; since the printer acquisition was done before this account creation, it is not considered, so B2B is not entitled to membership benefits.

Can you confirm access to the membership benefit for those who bought a printer as a business already using the new B2B account?

I sent BL this question. I will share the answer when available.

My plan says I have 8 credits left. The problem is there’s no information on what a credit is good for nor if they expire.

This whole roll-out is another example of how horrible the customer experience is at Bambu Lab. They are clearly a technology only company without a clue on customer service. They need to hire a CEO who can guide a company, not a product.

I don’t like the new membership program. I don’t buy enough filament to make it worth it. But, I plan on just buying the limit each month and storing up. When the membership expires, I just won’t renew.

I just wish they would put their filament on Amazon with overnight/next day/two-day shipping. That would be a real game changer, not their membership which takes forever to get delivered.

Thanks for asking, I’m interested also.
My B2B account shows that membership is active, the store shows the price offer when connected with that account, but the discount is not applied at checkout.
So I have hope this is just a bug as the membership is clearly set for that B2B account.

I believe I have the same issue. My account shows the membership, and I just ordered 9 spools of filament. Both PLA and PETG. I had forgotten about the new membership program - I’m just making my usual refill order. But, when I go back and look at my account, it shows 1/8 credits used… I ordered 9 spools, I’m not sure which one got the discount, or why the other 7 did not. Nothing mentioned a membership discount in any obvious way while going through the checkout process.

I think this process needs improving. I have no idea if it worked as expected, or if I just paid too much for 7 spools…

Oof. That’s what I was afraid of. How much is the plan after it expires, anyway? I couldn’t even find that info without signing up for it first.

It’s sucks that transferring membership is not possible. I bought my printer from a friend that bought it here but I won’t be able to get membership. BL could maybe attach the membership to an active printer and account. And there is no way of buying membership when you actually own a printer :frowning:

I insisted and got an answer; in my case, as suspected, the error relates to the new B2B account, and they could not update it in the system.
Alternatively, BBL offered a refund to be in line with membership benefits, which is fine for me despite the increased entropy.
I would advise exposing the issue and waiting for BBL feedback for anyone in a similar position, as it seems to be a custom solution.

Same issue. They set up the paths very oddly. If you sign in as your normal account then you can see the membership and discounts. If you go through the B2B link then you are fundamentally in a different account.
They put me in the EU first and I finally got that corrected.
The response back from support is that they are “incompatible”. Well since they are different accounts and not synced it makes sense why you don’t see them together. The main difference between them is you pay shipping and tax but get a discount with membership, and you don’t pay tax or shipping with business. Membership comes out ahead and the more you’re buying the more that is weighted to membership. Membership with the discount 2 spools of ABS $55.19. B2B with 2 spools ABS $55.98.
If you’re having trouble with the B2B make sure you have the region selected. If you don’t see the B2B by your user name try other regions and see if it comes up.

I find this membership confusing. If I cannot pay for the membership, then make that clear. I keep clicking links that say learn more, and check membership, and join, and i just get sent in a circle.

If this is intended for new printer owners only, it should be named accordingly.

Buy cheap amazon rolls and reuse bambu rfid tags. Cut them in half and use them for 2 rolls each. You can find bulk discounts down to nearly $10 a roll. Respool them onto a bambu spool with reused rfid tag. Vote with your dollar and companies will notice.

What do you use to respool?

General comment on memberships. I bought my P1S from a reseller in the US. Bambu does not provide membership benefits for that case. This makes no sense. Your slicer software is cloud based so you know everything about my printer. How about a registration program? I didn’t even find out about the membership program until a 3D print channel mentioned it. Do better for your customers. That’s silly to exclude this case.

I live in the Netherlands (EU) and have a B2B account and was invited to the membership program, Hurray! I thought… WRONG

Prices are not calculated correctly only my VAT is deducted but not the membership pricing.

This is now going on for about a month. Hold back with your order they tell me, what about my 8 rolls which I am entitled to?

Hold of ordering? If I was owning Bambu I would offer my clients a credit option not asking them to buy filament somewhere else, but hey that’s me huh.

Sending emails to support doesn’t help they stopped answering my emails after they told me it could take a while… WTF I am waiting now more than a month!

It is that their printers are doing a good job but if Bambu is not improving their support I think a lot of us will swap vendors when there is a new kid on the block with the than No 1 printer.
