How do i merge 2 signs created with makerlab to one?
i have created 2 signs with flush images.
Both have the same size.
I could not find a way to create a single sign with an image on the bottem, and one on top.
now i have inserted both files on a single plate.
I can allign them on the x and y axes. (they are exactly the same size)
but when i try to change the Z axes on one of them then it is being ignored and goes back to 0??
any help with this?
For testing i am printing them sepated to see how it will end up.
But like to have one file with one object.
It is a bit tricky to guess without pic’s as to what you are trying to do. Nevertheless, I assume that you have not merged the objects into a single part. Select both, right click, merge/assemble, then select only one and you can manipulate that as you see fit.

here is a screenshot.
I am trying to stack them together to be one.
So the P is on the bottem.
and the brain part is on the top.
if i merge, they become one object and i manipulate the location of both of them.??
I need them stagged on eachother so they become one signle object.
(dam, really hard to explain it what i have in my mind and putting it in text…)

If you merge them, you can go into the object section and only select one to manipulate. This should let you merge them easily as when an object is merged it won’t snap to the bad like normal.
