Message that he Z-axis motor appears seems to be jamming when moving upwards

Hello,

When performing auto-bed-levelling, I get a message saying that the Z-axis motor appears to be jamming when moving upwards.
There are no foreign objects on the Z-axis guides. I can’t see any foreign objects on the Z-axis pulleys either.

What should I do?

Kind regards

ProApe

P.S.: I had forgotten to include the error code displayed: [0300 4000 132208]

How many hours are on the machine?

Do you do all of the regular rail maintainance when it comes up?

Is there any chance you put grease on the linear guides instead of oil?

Thank you for your message!

I can’t remember when, or even if, I ever lubricated the spindles.
Right at the start, I think, a message kept popping up telling me I needed to lubricate them, and I reckon I did so back then.

I’ve just been fiddling about in the menu to see how many hours the printer has been running (I haven’t been able to find that out yet), and I came across a message I hadn’t seen before, telling me I needed to lubricate the spindles immediately.

I’m not sure which grease to use, though. I’ve got lubricating oils and greases in my workshop, but I don’t know if they’re suitable for this purpose.
If the grease I’ve got is suitable, I can apply it to the rails as well.

The message comes with a QR code, scan it and it will take you to the Bambu instructions.

Use grease on the screws, use oil on the rails.

DO NOT use grease on the rails.

Does it have to be a special oil? Among other things, I’ve got WD40 in the workshop.

And yes, there is a QR code.

I can’t find the info with the hours. It should be under Settings - General, but I don’t have “General”!

I have just found it elsewhere: 178 hours.

The Wiki covers the recommended oils, I don’t want to misquote it.

I bought some oil and grease from BassTech, greased the screws and lubricated the vertical and horizontal side guide rails with oil. I moved the plate up and down; it still squeaks a little and, more importantly, the Z-axis still can’t home with the same error message as before.

Whilst the plate is heating up to the correct temperature, filament is already dripping from the nozzle. That doesn’t seem normal to me?

UDATE:

After another attempt, it’s working now!
The fact that filament dripped from the nozzle whilst the bed was heating up suggests that the nozzle isn’t blocked; perhaps it was blocked before!
