How come I get a message “Sending file through cloud service” or something to that effect, when I am set up for LAN only P1S and X1C
You can’t even connect to your printer on bambu handy/studio on LAN only mode, only export the file to an SD Card.
What? I get that message, but I have no problem connecting to either printer, or loading the file to the printer. I’m just wondering why a “Cloud service” is mentioned, when I am running LAN only. Both printers act this way. It’s NOT a show stopper, I’m just wondering…
If you are in LAN only mode you should not be able to print directly from studio or handy
Not true.
From the wiki:
When LAN Mode is enabled, the following features do not work:
- Cannot start prints remotely from outside the local network
- Bambu Handy app is not available when using LAN Mode.
- Print History feature is not available (No browsing the SDcard from Studio - FTP is a workaround)
Printing from Studio in LAN mode works very well. I use LAN mode about 90% of the time, with the printer blocked from internet access at the router.
@user_3145750058, I’ve seen that message, but it is not clear to me what it means. After the third or fourth time I ignored it, I just checked the box to not show the message again.
Maybe, but I think I know what that message REALLY means now!
