You can try this gcode I made, it’s very rough and unpolished but you can actually experience what you can get from the motors. Just extract the gcode from the zip file, put it on your USB stick or SD card and print (you will click print but don’t worry, it’s not an actual print, it will just play the music) :slight_smile:

It should work for both X1C and H2D

Just now tried twice again and it is not working on my X1C.
I would download your file, but for security reasons(here at work I can’t) -
But why not paste a small section of it in plain text?

So my gcode has several ticks in it.
example -

It has the semi colon at front which is merely a comment.

The whole gcode only comes out to about 31kb of space, and it does end with an M18.
I’m going to give it one last try and then give up for now.

Have you tried your gcode on X1C?

  • I don’t think it’ll work as it doesn’t seem to support this yet

Oops, sorry guys, It worked on H2D so I assumed it would be the same on X1C but just tried it on my P1S and it does nothing… So may be it does nothing on the X1C. Sorry

@philch No problems, they have the header and footer for the startup and end music in the machine gcode for the X1C. So you’d think it should work.

Btw - I tested it on my H2D and it works! Cheers!

That stinks, I was hoping it would work since I have a P1S too.

I was really excited to get something to play on my P1S but so far im out of luck :worried:
