I’ve noticed when adding tags to my models that currently MakerWorld makes a distinction between upper and lowercase. Consequently, I get completely different search results for Christmas and christmas, and now I’m wondering if I should go back and add the capitalized versions of the words for my model tags. It doubles the amount of tags needed and could obscure models from search results if they’re not aware of it. Is there a reason for the distinction, or is this something that you all could fix in a future update?

It’s not even possible to use uppercase letters in tags.
Normally, no, but Makerworld has case sensitivity in tags, hence my post. Go search for “tag: Christmas” and then search for “tag: christmas”.
This is a legacy issue.
MakerWorld only supports lowercase characters since several months ago.

For tag search, we should also make it not case-sensitive (for legacy tags). Thanks for reporting this.
